Post Ebola economic building and reintegration programs
CHAMA was one of the first respondents that initiated an aggressive grassroots education campaign at the community level in rural African communities during the EBOLA outbreak. CHAMA continue to embarking on an awareness and sensitization campaign about the Ebola virus to help ameliorate rising conflicts within the community and enlighten local community dwellers about the reality of the virus. Currently, CHAMA is focusing on community’s post Ebola economic reconstruction. Many women and children who lost their husbands and parents need support to reintegrate into the community. To this end, we care for orphaned children and empower widows with skill acquisition to be able to care for themselves and their children.
